GET INVOLVED

We are so happy you’re interested in getting involved with our work here at Body Confident Collective. There are so many ways for you to help, and we truly appreciate each and every effort. By lending your support, you’ll become a valuable part of our Non-Profit Organization and help to strengthen our operations.

We have two pathways in which you can get involved - through our network or by working with us.

JOIN OUR NETWORK

The Body Confident Network connects experts, aligned organisations, youth members and individuals with valuable lived experiences together to influence, shape and review the work that we do.

EXPERTS

If you are a researcher, health professional, advocate or other professional who works in body image we want your expertise, counsel and advice on the projects we do. We are currently building a network of experts to collaborate and shape our meaningful work.

CHAMPIONS

We love connecting with individuals who have rich body image stories and lived experiences. Champions are an important part of the BCC network as they inform and connect the evidence based work that we create to the people who need to hear it.

YOUTH

The Youth Advisory Council aims to amplify the voices of young people, and take action to make change in ways that will improve the body image of the future of Australia. If you're a passionate Australian aged between 16-24 join us!

WORK WITH US

Working with us can come about in many ways. We love engaging with the next generation of body image advocates and support University placements and work experience opportunities. If you work in this space or are passionate about body image we are often looking for collaborators or new staff members. We would love to hear from you.

We offer students, researchers, and other professionals the opportunity to join in our projects, or create your own, as a part of a professional placement or sabbatical.

We are always open to new collaborations, especially from researchers where we can offer a platform for researchers to disseminate their evidence-based body image and professional development programs

If you are passionate about body image and have something you want to contribute, we want to hear from you! Send us an email detailing why you see yourself working at BCC and a little bit about yourself.
